Change Language Name

    Hello,

    On my site I’m using German (Formal) as default language and English (UK). At the moment I’m using “only flags” in the language switcher. I’d like to switch to “full language names”. When I do that now, it says “English (UK)” and “Deutsch (formal)”. I want to change that to “English” and “Deutsch”. I have also checked “native language name”

    I understand it should be possible to change that via the Custom Language tab but I’m unsure how to use it. Do I type in en_UK in Code an “English” in native name? Will my translated pages still work then?

    Thank you for reaching us!

    Yes, you are right, you need to use the Custom Language feature and add all the correct information there.

    In your case,if you want to have only English without (UK),you need to put English at native name and then enable the “Native language name” and this should display the version you want.
