Change image urls to https

After that activate, Follow plugin steps. I hope your issue will resolve.

I am just a bit worried to use a plugin for these kind of things, cause plugins are usually the weakest points when it comes to hacking my website^^.

This plugin only will change http to https. You can change this without plugin. Refer the screenshot.
Goto > General > Settings

thanks. I changed General > setting to https but unfortunately without the plugin you mentioned in your first post the image urls would still be refered to with http in the css. So I guess for now I will use the plugin but hope for a better solution soon^^. Maybe you guys need to change something in your code? So the image urls are referring to the general settings as well?
