• Here’s my ultimate dream. (We are never satisfied are we?) I have about 15 versions of that mascot and would love to make a standing owl change to a flying one and fly away when clicked. Is there a reasonable way to do that?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Dear Jackson,

Please share the 15 versions of the mascot.
A Dropbox link should be fine.

Perhaps if you passed the mouse event through to the object selected to be animated, it could respond itself – such as small gif or other?

    Dear Jackson,

    Apologies for the delay.
Will surely work on it this weekend.

There are about 40? different animations available in the drop down menu but some of them don’t do anything. Am I missing something??

    Dear Jackson,

All 40 of them do some sort of animation ??

Could you please name 1-2 examples of the anmations that are not working on your end.
    I’ll look into it.

Regarding the grand aniamtion, I am sorry but the work has been piling up and I am not finding enough free time to work on it. Will inform you as soon as I have some updates regearding it.

I am pretty sure that my problem is that I don’t know how to properly change from one animation to another. What I have been doing that has resulted in no animation, is just changing the name of the animation while in the post edit window where I, for example, changed “hinge” to “slideoutright” and animation failed. However, if I completely remove all the code (from “[edsanimate_start e…” through “[edsanimate_end]”) and start over by selecting the image and clicking the red animate it button in the edit window tool bar, then slideoutright works. So changing just the exit_animation_type= “hinge” to “slideoutright” breaks it somehow.
If I have already set up an animation, test it and want to change it, I go back to the post edit window, select the image and click the red animate it button and do another set up, now I see two, nested [edsanimate_start e…” through “[edsanimate_end]” so that can’t be the right way to change animation.
It seems I have to delete all the code and then start over, but if I do that in the visual mode of the post edit window, the image is deleted also. I can only succeed by deleting the animation parameters carefully in the text mode of the post edit window – which is a bit tedious.
Is there a better way to change animation type?

    Dear Jackson,

I am sorry but changing an animation would work best if you add it again from the start.

the thing is, the animations are of certain types in the Plugin (Entrance, Exit, Attention seekers), so each one has some sort of special short-code settings added to them.

However, you can change the things like delay, duration, animate on scroll, animation count etc, in the animation, as these are common settings with every animation.

    OK, thanks. I understand.
So if I select a previously animated object and click the red animate it button, you can’t tell that it already was animated. If you could, you could delete the old animation as the new animation parameter settings modal dialog opens? As it is one gets nested animation code in the text of the post.
Thanks for your prompt responses. I’m impressed.
