Change image slider to static form

Is it also possible to fit 4-5 post on one row instead of the current 2?

1) Instead of using the slider for this purpose it might be better to use the “wide” widget area. You can define your own div in this area and then add id’s or classes and style it as you want. For the sign in area you could grab the code from a plugin or something. I don’t think the slider is a good option here.

2)Go to “Theme Options” then go to the “Layout” tab. Select the number of columns you want for your content.
