Change image caption to alttext in 2.0.4

    Hi
    I just updated to NextGen 2.0.4 and all seems well except that, in my old version of NextGen, I had only the AltText showing in the thumbnail page, not the whole description. This was done on the gallery-caption.php page, line 47 by changing ‘caption’ to ‘altext’.

    Is there a way to do this in the new version?

    @nantucketnet – You can create a new custom template (preferred) or re-modify the existing “captions” template found at:

    products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/ngglegacy/view/gallery-caption.php

    You can save your “new” custom template in the same folder as well.

    Then make sure the appropriate template is being used for your galleries.
