Change Image at webpages

Yes that’s right. I am using WordPress and installed the theme and trying to change the header picture at subsequent pages. Have a look at learnitv.com.

I need to edit the header image with no image or different image under pages of archives, about etc. how can I do that?

If you need a custom image for each page I suggest you turn off the virtue theme banner option, instead add your home page image using the home slide option and then on other pages use the feature page template to show an image at the top.

Thanks, i am able to remove Virtue Theme banner option. However i am not sure how to add home page image via home slide option. in the wordpress, i have tried Appearance< Theme Options<Virtue 3.4.1< Home Slider Settings< Flex Slider and uploaded an image in the slider images. However still cant see that image at home page.
Also what these options are Flex, Full width, thumb, carousel etc.?

Also, for rest of my web pages i.e. Archives etc. where is the option of “feature page” to upload different image at the top of the page.
Any thoughts?

Hey, there isn’t an option for archive pages, not within the free virtue theme.

In your home slider settings have you selected “flex” to make sure it would show. You can click through each option to see how they look.

The issue is sorted for adding images to the non-home page e.g. “Archives”, “About Me” etc. and i learned it can be done simply using Kadence blocks. Thank you for making it so simple to use. Love it.

Now the only challenge i have is- How to add an image at the home page? I have followed your option i.e. went to wordpress<appearance<Theme Options< Home Slider Settings< Flex Slider and uploaded an image under Slider Images and save it. However i dont see any image at my home page as a banner. I have uploaded a pic of my setting at https://www.learnitv.com/digital-transformation/.

However i can change the home page image if i got to learnitv.com<customize<Main settings<Site Wide Banner and i can see its working well.

Is this an alternate approach and is it correct or i should still look ways to update image via Home slider?

Do you have your front page set as your posts page from Settings > Reading? That will override your hompeage settings (including the slider). Your posts page settings needs to be left blank. Then, also from Settings > Reading, your can set your front page as the latest post page. Does that make sense?
What you have enabled right now is the sitewide banner which is different from the home slider.

Thanks, my home page setting is “Your Latest posts”, NOT the “A static Page (select below)”
let me explain what i am trying to do- Banner image at the home page and then at the other pages, i am trying to add blank pages and add custom image or text as per the requirements.
Now at the home page – flex option is working fine now, but i think there is something wrong with the theme settings to set flex as an option for home page image. sometimes when i click “Home Slider Settings”< page gets blank and sometimes when i click on “Add slide”, nothing happens. E.g. i was trying to add 3 slides in flex option.

Current Issues:-
1. How to add more slides in the Home Slider Settings, clicking on add slides results nothing. I am trying to add 3 slides.
2. At my home page, i can see my test comment is displayed as twice! how can i make sure it displayed only once.

I can see an update the Virtue theme and have updated the same and one of two issues is fixed now i.e. adding more images under flex banner in Home Slider Settings.

Now the only unanswered question is – At my home page learnitv.com, why i am seeing all my post displayed as twice? No specific configuration made at Page/Post settings and i have uploaded a screenshot of my Page/post settings at https://www.learnitv.com/digital-transformation/ for reference.

Also , is there any way to customize the Home page e.g. instead of “latest post”, can i have something else there or use any Kadence block at home page?

Hey,
1. In your theme options > home layout. You have “page content” and “latest posts” enabled. Since your home page is set to show the latest posts your “page content” is your latest posts and the second latest posts is the latest posts module you have enabled.

2. If you want to use Blocks you have to set the home page as a static page, then the page content becomes whatever you put in your static page.
