So, on this page of my site I’m using a plugin called ‘beatstore.’ When a user adds one of the beats to the cart and then clicks ‘proceed to checkout’ the site redirects to the checkout page as expected. Though, for some reason it makes a whole separate instance of the website within the beatstore plugin.

I was wondering if there was a way to potentially make the ‘proceed to checkout’ button redirect to the checkout page without running another instance of the website within the beatstore plugin.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!!

    Hi –

I just took a look at the check out flow and everything worked great. Is the issue after the payment is processed? (bc I didn’t go that far)

The plugin developer should be able to help you with any customization needed for their product.

The issue is when you hit proceed to cart. It redirects to the cart, but creates a new instance of the website within the small square that the plugin was in.

Once you hit proceed to cart, if you scroll up, you’ll notice there is two navigation bars. Once within the square of the plugin and one larger one which is the original one.

I don’t know if any of what I’m saying is making sense.

It seems to look fine until you actually scroll up and notice that there is now a website within a website.

Either way, thank you for your time! I appreciate you. I’m sure I will resolve this sooner or later.

    Hi there,

This does not sound like something we can help with.

On that page you’re using an iframe to embed essentially an entire separate website inside that page, and actions taken inside the iframe will only have an effect inside the iframe.

This has nothing to do with the theme, and there’s no change you can make to the theme that can make this work differently. The theme only controls how your site looks, not how it works.

Instead, please contact the developers of whatever plugin you’re using to add that section to the page. They’d be best able to advise you on how to change this behaviour, if it is possible.
