    I would like to change host for my site but I need detailed advice for the whole procedure
    Is anyone willing to help me step by step or can you show me easy guides to do it?
    I would like to change host and then move or repurchase the domain

  • These things depend from host to host. Sadly, there is no easy way to write a step by step guide for that.

    But, it’s possible to transfer domain names from one host to another. I have done this in the past for my acting group and the process with my host was rather painless. For a small fee, my hoster did all the work for me actually.

    In terms of domain name transferal, I found this article by One.com that gives an example on the process of a host for it: https://www.one.com/en/domain/domain-transfer

    Some hosts also offer the service to move your website as well. Since, there are a lot of small things you need to keep in mind like moving the content, database, wp-config file, the media library…

    Do check everything after the move! Sometimes a page or two gets forgotten or overlooked.
