change home page?

    i want to change the home page of my wp. I found on this forum that you have to go to settings>reading and then select static page or something.. but the only thing i see in reading is

    “blog pages show at most:
    Syndication feeds show the most recent:
    For each article in a feed, show:
    Search Engine Visibility:”

    and the save changes button..

    i use my own created theme.

    So you don’t see the option for “Front page displays”?

    If so, try temporarily decativing your plugins and change to the default WordPress twenty thirteen theme and then go back into the reading settings and see if the “Front page displays” option is there.

    do you have any static page created in your site?

    you need to create a page first to have that option to show …
