change home link in aesthete?

Hi. Sorry, I was totally unclear. I meant to say, I want to have the “home” link at the top of the page direct to my non wordpress static page. (In this case https://www.irisaffiliates.info) I do not want a wordpress static page. My wordpress blog currently sits on irisaffiliates.info/wpkitten. This is where the “home” link is pointing now.

Try creating a custom menu and adding the link to your static site as a custom url.

I do have it as a custom url in the links category. I would just really like to have the “home” at the top of the page link to the actual home page of the whole site, not the wordpress home.

Ok, I’ve reviewed that info. But (and I realize I’m a dunce) I don’t understand how the sidebar custom menu “home” link helps me change the destination of the header home link?

If you want to change the url on the header image, you’ll need to edit your theme’s header.php template file.

Yes, this is what I have been attempting to do. I did find some code for it:

However, the aesthete theme does not have li tags.

That code has nothing to do with the header image url.
