and how do you move the menu bar?

as well as the header text?

Are trying to put something between the header text and the top of the page?
Use this instead of the other code.

.pad:before {
    height: 200px;
}

I’m trying to make the entire header smaller

#header .pad {
padding: 0 30px 0 30px;
}

I have found there is no “easy fix” with this theme.
