I’ve just started with Education Base, and can’t find where to remove or change the default header text: ‘Education Base – the modern educational wordpress theme’ plus the button ‘know more’ which appears on the left hand side of the screen. I’ve searched through all the options but can’t find it. Can someone help please? My site url is: theeconomicstutor.co.uk. Thank you.

  • Hello @margerydiamand,
Thank you so much for using our theme Education Base.
Education Base is Child/Parent Page approach theme. We recommend you to use the Parent Page as a selector and it’s child pages will appeared as a slider items.
Please find the options to manage the slider sections on Appearance > Customize > Featured Section Options > Enable Featured Section and got to Featured Section options to select the page to display the slider on the front page.
    Documentation Link
You can follow this blog post to make the slider section easily.
Please follow the theme documentation step wise to know more about the theme.

Thank you! This almost works – although the page I selected in the slider option doesn’t appear – a different page does. But I can work round this.

Can you also tell me if it’s possible to change the default fonts?

    Thank you very much.

    Hello @margerydiamand,
Changing default font’s is not available on the Free version. You need to purchase the premium version to get such features. Besides this there are lots of additional features on pro theme. Please look the premium version here.

    Regards
