• Please bare with me, as I’m new to wp. I want to change the header background in Kubrick to a pic of my choosing. I understand that I need to upload to my images folder and change the name to the name of the image already there…my problem is, I don’t know how to find the image folder where the original pic is…If it matters, I used fantastico to install …please help.

  • Right click to the image, and go to propierties… if it is a background, choose “View background image”

I don’t understand, I went to my site, right click and I don’t see “view background image” and even if I did, How would that help me? Don’t I have to be in the admin. area to make changes?

I would try the support documentation first, then perhaps try out kubrickr and make some headers.

I have read thru the support documentation, but I’m still confused…I already have a picture I want to use…Is it not possible to simply upload the pic into my wordpress site and rename it the default name of the pic that’s already in the header. I read another thread that said to do this…but I still don’t know where to upload my pic to or where the original pic is stored…I wouldn’t think it would be hard to do this for someone that knows what they are doing…am I wrong?

Yeah, you can overwrite the original pic, but you first need to know the path of the pic.
The header would be in the images folder inside in the template folder, but you will need to know the name of the image.
Go to Image Properties to know the name.

    Good luck.

Well, the path to the file in question should be this:
    wordpress/wp-content/themes/default/images/kubrickheader

“kubrickheader” would be the name of the file you are overwriting if you want to do that.
