Change header image to custom slider of recent posts

Hello,
I really like this theme. But the only thing i want to change is the header image. I want a slider of my most recent posts instead of the header image.
I installed a plugin and edited my slider. Where do i need to put the code from the slider plugin for the slider to be visible instead of the image.
I tried a few times but nothing changed
