Change Header Background Color

    Setting up a new website with the accesspress lite version 2.50 theme and having some difficulties changing the background color of the header. Can’t provide link as it is on my local server.

    I’ve tried the following with no luck:

    #masthead #site-header{background-color:#000 !important;}, #masthead .site-header{background-color:#000 !important;}, masthead .site-header{background-color:#000 !important;} and .site-header #masthead{background-color:#000 !important;}

    None of them work. I am using the “template two” setting. Any ideas?

    Also tried this with no luck either:

    .body_template_two #masthead .site-header {background:#000;}, header #masthead .site-header {background:#000 !important;}, header #masthead .site-header .ak-container .right-header #site-navigation .main-navigation menu-right .ak-container .site-branding {background:#000 !important;}, #masthead .site-header .ak-container .right-header #site-navigation .main-navigation menu-right .ak-container .site-branding {background:#000 !important;}

    I’m at a loss to figure out why I can’t change the background color of the masthead site-header div. If anyone can shed some light on this I appreciate it.

    Thanks for the reply however I gave up on your theme and moved on to one that allows me to make any css changes I need to make.
