Change function of X dismissal

    This plugin has a dismissal feature; an “X” the user can click to dismiss the notice.

    However the “X” function also seems to also act as consent? Isn’t that wrong? Shouldn’t the “X” only clear the notice from view (of the current page session), and the user should expect the notice will return on the next page they visit?
