Change “From Name”

    Hi, I was able to successfully configure the plugin and set my email as the authorized send of my website however, how do I change the “FROM Email” value when an email is sent from the website?

    I’m using gravity forms by the way, and the plugin does override the value I set in gravity forms.

    Thank you for reaching out!

    With Microsoft Graph – in my humble opinion – changing the “From” name is not supported. You can merely change the “From” account, provided that the account used to submit the mail message to Microsoft Graph has sufficient permissions to send as / on behalf of that other account.

    For example – for the WPO365.com website – I have created several Shared Mailboxes with very specific mail addresses and a naming convention e.g. WPO365 | Fake Mailaddress <[email protected]> and use that address to override the default “From” address (because it’s configured by the form sending the email as the “From” address and forms may override the default “From” address).
