    Thank you for the information . My child theme doesn’t have a functions.php so I made an html file in dreamweaver. I do not know how to get it upload correctly to my blueHost c-panel-file manager. I uploaded it to the customizr-child-01 theme file folder. It somehow lands on the public view – This code shows up on top of my dashboard:

    It sounds like you created and html file. Your functions.php file must be saved as a .php file.
