    I have made a child theme for optimizer exactly as it is stated in the help text on the layer themes site. I have installed and activated the child theme and that worked fine. But I do not seem to be able to change the font to ‘handlee’ everywhere on the site. I use the normal procedure as it is a standard functionality in optimizer. I have adjusted it in basic settings (2 times) and in the header settings, but the font seems to change only partly (looks like the headers only) and not everywhere. The original theme doen’t seem to have that problem. When I activate the original theme, it’s working fine. Any suggestions?
    Thanks in advance,
    Corine

    Hi,
    I’ve still got a problem with the optimizer-child theme. It seems impossible to change the font as follows through the regular menu.
    custom->basic->basic fonts> site content font And then change the font.
    Other adjustments that I make through the menu are working fine. I’ve set up the child theme exactly as it says in the instructions so that should be ok.

    I could probably change the font through custom css, but the whole point of choosing optimizer was the ease of use and “standard” possibilities. Want to use custom css as little as possible since I’m not to familiar with it.

    Could you please let me know something?

    Cornie,

    Try adding this to your child theme’s stylesheet:

    body, input, textarea{ font-family:Handlee!important; }

    We will fix the issue in the next version.

    Thanks

    That worked out perfectly! Thank you so much!!
    With regained confidence I will continue my attempts building my first website and using optimizer to do so!
