Change filename to Post title

Humm. Good idea. I’ll try to add this on next version.

How do you think it should be done? At first when you suggested i thought it could be done in a way, but now i don′t know if i really understood your idea.

Can you describe it better?

New Post

the postTitle is for example:

“I like icecream”

you upload an featured ICE image.

And it will be renamed to “I-like-icecream.jpg”

Hi, nice plugin but don’t work rename postTitle with my theme (geotheme) when upload images by frontend

We save images via a “remote image save” plugin, that automatically downloads remote images and save them.

This plugin works with the “site title”, but it does not work with the”post title”.

However, everything does work via the regular Uploader.
It would be really nice if the Post title feature also works with images saved via a custom plugin of auto save remote images.

I think WPGUS and oomskaap are having the same issue. Any workarounds you can think of?

File renaming based on post title needs to be done inside admin on post creation or edition. Otherwise how could i know the post title?

And the file upload needs to be done by the native wordpress media upload only. I’m sorry
