Change filename to Post ID

– 1 thing is like the title says, renaming files based on post ID. It would be possible. But why do you want it?
– The second thing is to make this plugin work for custom post types. Isn’t it working already? I’ll take a look.
– I didn’t understand about the multiple attachment per post. Anyway, maybe this plugin will work for you. It suits me just fine when i need it.

I am setting up a photo directory, I would need photo URLs to be absolutely clean and not dependent upon users changing their post title. I believe POST-ID (or ATTACH-ID) to be a reliable data, much more reliable than others in order to grant a lifelong URL.

Should we have more then 1 attachment per post (e.g. 1 featured image + 2 images), how do we name those 3 attachments considering that POST-ID being a unique number ? We would need something like uploads/2013/11/POSTID.jpg and uploads/2013/11/POSTID-2.jpg and uploads/2013/11/POSTID-3.jpg . An alternative fix to this could be using ATTACH-ID, just guessing ??

It would be great for this plugin to give us the option to set POST-ID (or ATTACHMENT ID) as alternatives for file renaming.

I would like the post ID for the simillar reason. As my users will be uploading contents without title at first.

Also it would be nice for it to be customisable by the user, we can specify our own parameters.
e.g.
%parentPostID%-%attachmentID%-pictures.jpg

That would be the best option, let us specify certain parameters.

%PostID%.jpg or %attachmentID%.jpg or whatever.
