Change fields between edit and view

    Hi. Is there a way to control in the profile form if user could edit/view or only view. I have two roles and role#1 has 4 fields that role#2 should not see or edit in “Edit Profile” . But if I hide them from role#2, role#2 could not see them in member directories.

    Hello @opvab

    There is the option “Visibility” in field’s settings. You could set which role can see this field.

    Thanks for the reply. If I choose the option “Visibility”, the Role#2 can’t see it in the member directory. So:
    Role#2: XYZ Field in view/edit Profile: Visibility=False
    Role#2: XYZ Field in Member Directory: Visibility=True

    I’m sorry. Do you mean the “Privacy” option? In my previous message I made a mistake in the name “Visibility” instead of “Privacy”.
