Change Field Title

  • Although I have been using Participants Database for a few years, today is the first time I have needed to use the new interface to add a new field to a field group.

    I added the field successfully, but when I tried to change the field title, when I clicked the ‘Update fields’ the title reverted back to the original. I tried to change the tile on an older field, but the same thing happened. I tried to add some help text, but on clicking the ‘Update Fields’ again it disappeared.

    As no one else has mentioned this problem, it must be something I have not got quite right. Have you got any ideas please.

    This can happen if you have too many fields in the group. You can probably fix this by organizing your fields into smaller groups. Another possibility is your php configuration ‘post_max_size’ needs to be bigger. You can usually change this in your hosting control panel.
