It’s possible to get image details in Meta Box. Unlike ACF, which specifies what to return, Meta Box always return an array of full info for the image, including ID, path, URL, title, meta data, etc. Please see this docs for more details:

Configuring fields can be done with UI (the Meta Box Builder extension). Outputting field values on the frontend is similar to ACF: you can use code or use a page builder or use views (MB Views extension which has UI).
