Change excerpt length in child theme

    I need to change the length of the post excerpts and am using a child theme.

    I would have thought this would be easily accomplished using a hook, but instead it seems to be hardcoded into a non-pluggable function which I can’t easily override.

    Also after setting up my child theme all of the menus in the Customise section are missing CSS and badly formatted.

    This theme looks great and I would use it on more websites if the support for child themes was better.

    Can you please post a screenshot of the issue?

    We will make the necessary functions pluggable in the next version.

    Thanks for the reply and fixing the excerpt length in the next version.

    The wonky formatting in the Customizer must have just been a caching thing as it is working fine again now and I didn’t change anything.
