Change "edit gallery" layout to display more pictures

  • Hi,
    I find it very difficult to edit my wp galleries when there’s a lot of pictures in a gallery (typically I like to drag and rearrange them). This is due to the fact that only 4 pictures are displayed per row, and only 2 and a half rows (on my 15 inches macbook pro) – see picture below.
    Is there a way (settings or plugin) that would allow me to set smaller thumbnails + allow a full screen view to edit my galleries?

    Hi,
    No, no, it is the standard wordpress gallery functionnality (e.g. when you go to page > add media > create gallery).
    Just don’t find the gallery editing very convenient

    yes, i get what you meant now.

    i can see we can do it if we edit css by modifying file named load-syles.php at line 11. width is what we have to reduce as per our convenience. 

    .media-frame-content[data-columns="9"] .attachment {
    width: 11.11%;

    i beleive it is core file and it isnt advisable to modify it.you can override it in function.php, not sure though .let’s wait what other guys suggest for this.
