Change display priority

  • I’d love to change the display priority of the shariff box below the content so a different plugin with a list of related posts is shown above it instead of below. I can’t change the display priority of the related posts box below 10 because for some wordpress reason it gets really messed up. (WP applies a few formatting points at priority 10 or something?)

    Is there a way to do this?

    Hey,

    check out the setting “Shortcode Priority” on the “Advanced tab” of the Shariff settings. Setting it to 11 should do it.

    Sorry, had to switch back to “not resolved”. When I did what you recommended what happened was that the shariff bar disappeared and there was just a text “[shariff]” showing up instead (but at the right position! hey!).

    You did set it to 11 right? Not something higher? Because currently there exists a bug in WordPress that shortcodes are not executed, when the priority is higher than 11. This bug will be fixed in WordPress 4.7, but until then 11 is the maximum number you can set it to.
