    Hi everyone,

When I built my site last year, I built it on a different domain and then copied it using wptwin to my current domain. In any case, for some reason, some of the suggested posts at the bottom of my posts (in the “you may also like” section) are still pointing to the OLD domain and not to the current domain, which obviously kicks the visitor to a different website altogether. How can I edit those automatically generated links to point to the right domain of the website?

    Thank you in advance!

    Cheers, nt

seem like permalink issue not theme.
shouldn’t all permalink change to new domain name when import?

is the ‘you may also like’ use the theme builtin related post?

Richie, I can’t remember but I think that before I switched, while I was working, I sometime wrote the new domain instead of leaving it blank or something like that (it was a while back!), and that is what screwed up things, although it only seems to be an issue on the “you may also like” area. In other words, when I see a post in the “you may also like” area and hover over it and see that the URL is the old domain, I don’t see the same problem if I go to the all posts page or category it is in (then it directs me to the right URL). I really have no idea how this happened, I just know it randomly happens with a small number of revolving posts in the “you may also like” area.

I am not sure I understand your question about the bulletin related post so I can’t answer it :-(.

    Thank you thank you!

i mean if the ‘you may also like’ section are using the theme built-in related post. you can enable or disable theme built-in related post in wp-admin->appereance->theme option->post setting->related post.

if not, it might be a plugin. or…

Hi Richie, thank you! I disabled the plugin feature that did it and now use the built-in related post in the theme instead! I believe all has been resolved, thank you again.
