    Hi, I did a website for a client in 2 languages and with translatepress i did all the translation. At first the client wanted the site to be in Spanish as default but now he prefers it in Catalan. How can i change the default language without having to do all the translations again? I’m using it with woocommerce and there are thousands of products,

    Thanks

    Hello,

    Changing the default language will invalidate existing translations. We can’t keep them because the translations are directional and you’ll also need to change ALL your content directly in the new language.

    The default language is the language your content was written in.

    If you want another language to be the first language, then simply enable:

    * Use TranslatePress -> Settings -> Subdirectory for default language -> Yes
    * Reorder the languages

    Cheers,

    Thank you very much, that worked perfectly for me.
