Change default behavior on gallery click when displaying an album.

  • I’m displaying some galleries using the album-compact temple on my site. Right now when one of the galleries is clicked on it displays the gallery using the default gallery.php.

    What I’m looking for is a way to change that so I can use a different template.

    I’ve decided to just modify gallery.php since I won’t be using the default layout for anything anyway.

    My next question is: Is there a known issue of not being able to display and album and a gallery on the same page?

    Well I was able to get an album to display on the same page as one of the galleries in the album.
    However, to get it to work I had to uncheck the option that allows the galleries of an album to load in the same page.

    Is it possible to have an album display display in the same page as one of its child galleries while still having the galleries load in the same page?

    I was useing the “album=” in the url to get which album the gallery was apart of. though if there is another way to get which album a gallery is a part of then I could use that too.
