Change date format from “1 month ago”

  • By default the CoverNews Pro theme displays post dates as how much time has elapsed since the publication, for example “1 month ago”. I would like to change this back to the standard date format set in WordPress’s general settings (in my case, “August 31, 2018”).

    Is this possible through a setting or would this require a child theme? If the latter, which files would I need to modify?
