Change crop of photo from top to center

I use nRelate on my blog https://www.thingsimadetoday.com.

For photos that are taken longways, nRelate crops them from the top to the middle. Other plugins use the center most part of the photo.

Is there a way to control this? Attached is an example of what I’m talking about:
