Change content of facebooks share buttons

    Hi,
    is there any possibility to change the content that is shared with the facebook button?

    Unfortunately the content shared on my site is not appropiate as it displays an author’s profile image instead any other image (would be also ok) and some unlucky meta titles I cannot change easily through backend.

    Would be happy about any news, thanks!

    Hi,

    the content is actually not shared with the buttons. Only the URL is shared and Facebook then visits your page and extracts the content. You need to set the og-meta-tags correctly. There are plugins out there that do it for you. Just search for “wordpress og meta” and you should find plenty of solutions.
