change content

  • Is there a word press plug in that permanently changes the content of posts?
    The filters seem to change the content only when the content is displayed. I need something that changes the content as its being edited, either when it it saved or by ajax when it it changed in the admin. In other words, the changes should appear in the post editor and get saved to the database when the post is saved.

    I don’t care what changes any particular plugin makes, I just need to see how its done.
