Change column width in Distinction theme

In the Distinction WP theme, is it possible to widen the left column info blocks (widgets?) to about 650 px while leaving the right column narrow? I’m searching for a WP theme that allows clean separation of data like Distinction offers, yet with a L-R column width similar to most other website themes.
