Change color of slider in template 13

Hi guys, I′ve been surfing around for an answer with no luck. I have been trying to change the color of the slider if template 13, in which the slider comes in color blue. I have tried to give the slider a class name to make the change with no results, then, I found a reply from you guys where you mention a code sample to change colors, did that and still no change. I don′t know what I′m missing, so I′ll be very grateful if you could help me with the solution.
