Hello, thank you for the very nice PDF plugin. I have changed the font and text color in the invoice PDF by creating a css file in the child’s theme. I was able to successfully make most of the adjustments there, and they are working well.

However, I am unable to change the background color of the table plus a few other changes.

I also want to change the product, quantity price, subtotal and total font type and color.

I also want to change the color of the separation lines below the subtotal and total.

    Can you assist?

    Thank you

    Hey @mmhgloba,

You can go to the Status tab and enable ‘Output to HTML’. This will open the PDF in a browser tab. From there you can right click and inspect the PDF to view the CSS variables that you can target with your CSS code.

For the fonts, you can use the Custom Fonts guide here. You can then apply this font to the variables you want.

Hello, thanks for the tip about the CSS variables, that worked and I have it corrected.

The issue that remains is that, the file I created in the child’s theme is not working as I thought it was.

When I change something in the wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-pdf-invoices-packing-slips/templates/Simplestyle.css the folders/file I created in the child’s theme do not override it.

I have tried this several different ways including what you explained in this screenshot, that path does not work either when added to my child’s theme.

Can you point me in the right direction on how to properly replicate the correct file in the child’s theme? The child’s theme works, that is not the problem. It has been in effect for several years. It is just that this particular file is not effective for some reason. I even created the same path in the parent’s theme, but the child’s theme was still not effective.

If I create the same file in the parent’s theme, and replicate it in the child’s theme, should I then delete the file from the WordPress files? Maybe that is the problem, I did not try that.

Thank you for any insights you can provide.
