change color of active main link

How can I change the menu link color for the active link?
I’ve tried this but it doesn’t work.current-menu-item .quadmenu-item-content .quadmenu-text {
color: #ffffff !important;
}
Also, I have the setting set for hover but the sub-menu does not appear unless you click the main link.The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
