Change canonical tags for better docs urls to avoid 404 errors

    Hello,

    In the general settings tab, I have specified the items for the following; Documentation Page Title, BetterDocs Root Slug, Custom Category Slug, Custom Tag Slug, and Doc Permalink.

    However, the canonical tags for the pages are still showing up as docs, docs-category, docs-tag which leads to 404 errors on my website.

    How can I fix that?

    Hi @homeworkasap,

    That sounds really strange actually. Can you please try changing your Permalink Settings from your WordPress Dashboard and try again?

    I tried changing the permalink settings and it worked.

    The canonical URLs issue is now fixed.
