    Hi

I want to keep the english version, cos is better ??
however, I like to change the CALENDAR language ?!

    Changing the “define(‘WPLANG’, ‘to_whatever’);”
will change the whole DASHBOARD into the new language
which I do not want to.

However, I like to change calendar names:

January, February, March, April => into my language!
Wonder where the DATE.PHP script or file is located ?!

    Thanks

  • Never, ever, edit WordPress core scripts. And do not encourage others to do so. Editing core scripts can bring down your entire site and/or open security holes for hackers to use.

yeh but come on .. is just a case of EDITTING the Jan_January_ into my bloody language. Installing my language.mo converts the whole dashboard language into my native lang – which is annoying cos I am used to english but the users should be reading the native language

    I looked into this: https://svn.automattic.com/wordpress-i18n/pot/trunk/wordpress.pot

but it looks like the file is not up to date

if I did find the english.mo somehow I would just edit the Monthly names and that’s it really.

    There isn’t an english.mo file!

well since there IS NO, then I will have to try this way, as above but u saying DO NOT CHANGE!! So how would u solve my issue then!>??

You have been asked where you downloaded your theme and/or for a link to your site. You have yet to provide either piece of information.

1> Quick search and it showed this:

    https://sony.web.id/download-broadway-themes-a-wordpress-magazine-theme.html

2> You CANNOT access the website because it is still not PUBLISHED, since we want to change some stuff and undergoing tests. Unless you have ADMIN logins, otherwise u cant see the site, is this clear enough!?

Please provide a download link that isn’t bundled with other software. And also remember – unless you help us, we cannot help you.

Thanks. I’ve looked at the theme and I’m afraid it is not translation-ready. ??

yeh I know … thanks but using Dreamweaver and searching for January, it finds the following files containing the monthly names:

    jquery-addons\date.js
    jquery-addons\date_en_US.js
    wp-includes\locale.php
    wp-includes\js\tinymce\langs

Guess I will do it this way ??
