    Hello All:

I am trying to change the button text in the monthly calendar view from “tickets” to register. I have tried changing the text twig/event-single.twig line 23 {{ event.get_runtime( ‘tickets_url_label’ ) }} to ‘Register’ but that did not work. Does anyone have a PHP snippet or CSS that would allow this minor change? My Art Center registers students for classes not “tickets” I would like to avoid any confusion. Thanks in advance!

  • Hi @seanrobert,

You can try using a 3rd party plugin called “Say What?”:

Say What? – A 3rd party plugin that allows you to alter strings on your site without editing WordPress core, or plugin code. Simply enter the current string, and what you want to replace it with and the plugin will automatically do the rest.

UPDATE: I created a child-theme per timely website:
    https://time.ly/document/user-guide/customize-calendar/create-new-calendar-theme/

I have gone through the following TWIG files:
    event-popup
    event-single
I have removed or changed any reference to “Tickets” and replaced with “Register” saved in theme options, per instructions, and still the “Tickets” shows up on the drop down events on Monthly Calendar view. If anyone has experience with this I would greatly appreciate the help

    Peace

    Hi @seanrobert,

I would need to check your set up and see if it’s correct. In order to ask for the pertinent info, please log into your Timely account and open a ticket by clicking on the Get Help link, or click here: https://dashboard.time.ly/account/get-help.
