Change bucket name

  • Just installed WP Stateless. Allowed Usability Dynamics to set up Google Cloud. I am now trying to serve Google Cloud/Stateless thru Cloudflare. Questions:
    1) It might help in setting up CNAME to change the name of the bucket (it needs to be shorter than what Usability Dynamics set up. Can this be done via Stateless or do I need to go into my Google Cloud Console to do this?
    2) Following instructions in Google Cloud Request Endpoints, it appears that the bucket name should include my domain name (i.e. mybucket.mydomain.com) If I change bucket name to something like “images” do I then append my domain name to it?
    3) Under File URL in Stateless settings there is a box to replace the default GCS domain with my own custom domain. What is the default GCS domain name and what would a custom domain name look like?

    Sorry for the long post – I just want to set this up correctly without breaking anything. The connection with Cloudflare (DNS) looks pretty simple once I have the correct GCS names and domain info in place.
