Change border width/thickness on SU Tabs?

    I’ve learned how to use Custom CSS code in the SU settings panel to change the colors, font size and border radius on my SU TABS but I cannot work out how to change the width/thickness of the border around the tabs.

    I’ve tried adding a border-width: 1px; instruction into the following classes;
    .su-tabs
    .su-tabs-nav span
    .su-tabs-pane

    but nothing changes. The (red) border around my tabs stays stubbornly at around 3 pixels width.

    I’ve checked through the documentation and support forums but can’t find anything.
