InkThemes,
I’d like to do the same thing that Alex wishes to do. There is only room for one blog post at a time on the front page, and it’s excerpt is egregiously truncated. In the right blog container, there’s four lines of text and then four inches of blank white space. (And then the testimonials.) This is the only opportunity for a visitor to my front page to read an excerpt of a blog entry. I should easily be able to put two paragraphs there (or, frankly, as much as I want). I don’t understand why control over the amount of text in that container can’t be controlled by the user.
If there are users who are happy with the minimal amount of text that is now available, more power to them. Making more text available won’t affect them, but it would convince someone like myself, who loves everything about this theme save for that poorly conceived and executed bit of design, to go the whole hog and buy the pro version.
I’m not kidding. I would buy the pro version if your coders fixed a hideous design flaw that never should have made it through the initial version’s beta.
