Change blog directory

hi,
My website is https://www.linuxhaxor.net but I put my wordpress blog at linuxhaxor.net/blog now anyone who visits my site gets redirected to blog page. I understand that this is not a good practice and might get redflaagged as a spam or phishing. I would like to move wordpress directory from /blog to the root directory. Because it is also configured with mysql I understand it is not as simple as copy and pasting folder content to the root directory. I would appreciate if anyone helps me out with the best possible way to do it.
