Change beginning FN number ??

Hello,
Great, simple plugin. I have a two part academic article that has footnotes. Part 1 contains FN’s 1-27, and Part 2 contains FN’s 28-58. Is there a way to begin on a specific number?
Like for example [note begin=”28″] of something to that effect….
