    But, some themes have an options submenu available under the appearance tab in the admin area.

    If not, then often you have to upload the image into your theme’s images directory, and adjust a link that is probably ion the header.php file of your theme

    that theme should have a widget for the ad banner
    admin – Appearance – Widgets
