Change background colour of navigation bar

if there is a place in your admin where you can add custom css you can easily do it by adding

#nav li
{
background:orange !important;
}

#nav li a
{
color:#fff !important;
}

of course you will need to replace the elements with the correct ones and the hex colour for your desired orange.

Thanks, but your suggestion doesn’t seem to be working for me.

I inserted the above code into the custom CSS box with my hex codes but it doesn’t affect the look of the nav bar at all.
