Change background color in Google Calendar after successfully synced

After successfully synched an appointment from Salon Booking to Google Calendar, I notice the background of the appointment in Google Calendar turn white. I right click on the appointment to change it to a different color, but only the border and text change color, the background still stay white. Is there a way to change the background color in google for each appointment?
