    Yeah you can with CSS. It depends on what you are lookiung for but you might try something like:

    .simcal-calendar { background: #f00; }

    You can inspect the elements to find out which class/id names you will need to adjust. You can then just add the styles to your theme stylesheet or use a plugin like jetpack to load custom CSS.
